The Book Club

The club has been largely inactive this year!

Next year I think we should try to choose a number of books to read throughout the year, rather than selecting them one at a time, as we have in the past. Not everyone has to take part each time, but if we aim to read several throughout the year, most Book Club members should be able to read some, if not all of them.
Please indicate here if you would be interested in taking part in next years reads. All welcome of course! Just to give us an idea of how many takers we may have. No one is obliged to read all our choices and we always allow plenty of time to allow slower readers, or those with little spare time, to complete the books before discussion.
I will start a new thread in the near future where we can all make our book suggestions for 2017, then we can decide/vote, if there are too many.

Plant and Nana perhaps the books that you suggest for our list next year could be available on Audible? At least that would ensure some of them are. Also, many books are available on audio book to borrow from the library, so that is another possibility.
