    Diane Chamberlain

I love Diane Chamberlaines books. Has anyone else read them?

I have read several of her books, and have enjoyed every one. I particularly enjoyed Pretending To Dance, The Midwifes Confession and the one I am reading at the moment - The Good Father.
I recommend them to anyone looking for something new to read.

I read them on Kindle Libra. They are available in book form as well.

Thanks for the information Gems I am on the look out for new titles and do tend to wait until something is recommended I have a tablet and kindle but must say I prefer to snuggle up with a book in bed when reading, and the fact that a book doesn't make too much noise when I fall asleep and it falls off the bed

When kindles came out I always said I wouldn't have one but eventually someone bought me one and I loved it. I don't read a lot these days to be honest, mostly on holiday but then I will have four or five books on the go so it is much easier with a kindle. I downloaded kindle to my iPad and husband uses my stand alone kindle now. It has a pink leather cover and he looks sweet with it on the beach! He has no idea how to download a book though so I do all the downloading for him.

The Midwifes Confession is really good Libra. I'm sure you'll enjoy it.

In bed this morning I was nearing the end of my current Diane Chamberlain book. At one point I had that rare goosebumps all over feeling when I realised something which I hasn't realised about a character.
Only a few more minutes to go, so I was staying in bed until the last page. Then, the battery on my Kindle died!!! I got up and plugged it in, but it wouldn't switch on as it was too low. Talk about frustration

Oh no Gem you must have been spitting feathers of frustration. Did you get to finish it eventually?
On your recommendation I'm going to download one or two onto my Kindle for our cruise.

That was a long time to wait. I hate rushing the ending of a book and would rather leave the last few pages until later than have to hurry up to read them.I hope you enjoyed the ending when you eventually got there Gem.

I have just finished another of hers, The Courage Tree. As gripping as the others, I couldn't' wait to get to the end and didn't want to finish it, in equal measures!
