Autumn bookclub - Thornfield Hall by Jane Stubbs

A change to our usual format this time.
Once everyone has their copy we will set a date to aim to be finished by. Then readers can post their comments on this thread, rather than a one hour live discussion.
We hope this will give more people the opportunity to take part, and perhaps lead to greater discussion. Anyone late to finish can avoid this thread until they have, then join in!
The more readers, the better the discussions, so please join the autumn read!

Right ladies.... Clover and I have our copies. I know Sum1 is taking part, and I think Plant is?
Shall we set a date of November 1st to begin discussing/commenting?
That gives a month to obtain and read the book. Of course if you don't finish by that date you can add your comments when you do.
                  Any more takers?

I've begun to read it and it's going well so far!

That date is fine with me Gem. I hope more people join in. It's so interesting to hear other's points of view. I think it's fascinating we all have different likes and dislikes in life generally.

I've got it on my Kindle ready to start after I've finished my current read!

I'm seeing it as a bit of a challenge because I found the scenario quite scary when I first read Jane Eyre, but I'm determined to give it a go.

The more the merrier - and I agree with Clover, it's fascinating to find out other people's impressions and opinions. I think this format will allow for more discussion because we will have as much time as we need to respond to various comments. The more we put into the discussion the more we will get out of it.

I haven't started it yet as I'm a quick reader and I don't want to forget it LOL.
I shall probably read it when I finish my present book, and makes some notes which I can add here on or after November 1st
