    The Underground Railroad

I have just read The Underground Railroad, by Colson Whitehead
A New York Times Best seller

All about a slave and her journey of escape from her Master and the slave catcher across America .
A really good book kept me hooked .
    THEN …
    The ending was rubbish ,
It sort of just stopped , with no hint of what happened to her . Did she survive ? Did she finally find freedom ?
It ended where she once again escaped the Slave catcher and hitched a lift on a waggon away from him , that was the end
I thought there was another chapter but it was extracts from another book by the authors

    So disappointed

Oh that's disappointing when the ending doesn't deliver Oma.

We can only suspect there is to be a sequel?

Oma, how disappointing. Was it fiction or a true story? If it was true there may not be any more information about her, but if it's fiction perhaps as Gem says, there will be a sequel.

        It sounds very interesting though.

Apparently there's a series on Prime Video but some of the comments I've read say there's lots of unanswered questions but it does go further than the book , I might see if I can find it and watch .

Oma, hopefully it will go some way towards completing the story for you.
