Qwerty - yes! I think it's a musical story written round her songs, in a similar way to Mamma Mia was of ABBA.

I've read good and bad reviews of it, but OH knew Dusty, so it will have memories for him, I'm sure.

It was lovely to have a night out. Bournemouth was looking good in the early evening - not dark, but lights everywhere - I think we did well to navigate round the confusing road works near the theatre. There was a group of about 20 of us, so lots of catching up chat, although I think we were the only people who hadn't been on at least one cruise this year!

The show was a bit mixed, I felt. I didn't expect a sparkling, riveting story line so I wasn't disappointed that it seemed a bit slow at times. The music was great, which for me is the main thing, and there were a couple of songs I didn't recognise/remember. The cast were excellent and multi-talented singers, dancers and musicians. They also basically acted as stage hands, moving tables and chairs round etc. The set and lighting were very disappointing - classic wobbly bits and very flat lighting.

I wouldn't rush to go and see it again, but as I say, the music was very good.
