    Suffragettes

Did you watch this last night ? I know myself and Libra did we were messaging each other during it ,
It was very powerful , the little boy who played Maude's son was outstanding

Even today people don't understand what these ladies went through to give woman a voice in a mans world
Im not fat just 6ft too small

I saw it at the cinema Oma. I went by myself on one of OH's golf days. Really good movie, and saddening and shocking to realise how comparatively recently mothers had no rights over their own children!

Darn I missed it .I wanted to see it when it was on at the cinema. I could have recorded it. My GD and friends created a drama about the suffragettes for a school project.

Very powerful film! Wonder what I'd have done if I'd been alive then.
Believe you can and you're halfway there.

Exactly, LG. I get quite upset when people say 'my one vote doesn't count' or 'I can't be bothered to vote'.

I didn't see it but would like to - what channel was it on, please?

I saw it at the cinema, very good, I think it should be remembered what those ladies achieved.
