    Educating Manchester

Not sure where to post this Gemini, move it if I have it wrong, thought we had an education heading,

Is anyone watching Educating Manchester, it is a must for me, I have watched all the previous series. I am so impressed with those dedicated teachers who have to deal with the day to day behaviour and emotional problems of the children, trying so hard to get them to finish their education. The Manchester school have an amazing head teacher and his two brothers work there also.

I've never watched them Plant I think I would have to tape it as OH has been a teacher 30 odd yrs and hates watching anything on those lines I'm afraid

I can fully understand your OH's reluctance, what subject did he teach?

I have watched Educating Yorkshire. I will see this one on Catch Up.
I don't think we have had an education section.

My husband was a University Lecturer, Qwerty, but had spent many years in Industry before going into teaching. He was an Electrical Engineer, he had a brief spell in Coventry and then finished up at Brunel University up till retirement.

I have caught snippits of this series as I was dozing on sofa so will catch up over the week-end,the staff at the school must be the most caring teachers I have ever seen as I know I could not tolerate such behaviour they are very special people indeed and need congratulating in what they do and what they achieve.I was quite tearful when the young boy who had just moved to England and was placed in the class of pupils who had problems it was amazing to see him graduate to the main stream school and see his confidence grow enormously as he made new friends.
