A female Dr Who

After rumours have been around for some time, it was confirmed that the next Doctor will be a woman, actress Jodie Whittaker. You may have seen her in Broadchurch.
I can't say keen on the idea of a female Doctor I am prepared to\be converted!

We haven't watched Dr Who since the kids were little.
i suppose there is no harm in having a female Dr Who.

Can remember my younger brothers watching from behind the settee! The older of my brother's foster sons is fanatical about Dr Who and would probably win Mastermind with his knowledge.

No reason why there shouldn't be a female Dr though as the character changes quite regularly. I'll have to ask FS what he thinks about it!

I'm not happy with it, but I really wasn't happy with an older Doctor, the present Peter Capaldi, but grew to like him very quickly.
I wish Matt Smith would return as the Doctor!

Don't consciously watch Dr Who though OH likes it.A female doctor will certainly be a novelty after all these years.

GS is /was a fan , he is. never going to watch again ! I am afraid I lost it and gave him a lecture on gender equality think it went over his head , maybe it would be a good thing to break his obsession , he has to have Dr Who on everything

Havent watched it for years, not since DGS was a fan.....it was bound to happen sometime, don't think it matters really. Maybe I'll watch it when she is on, I like her as an actress.
