    Corriedale!

Tonight sees two Soap worlds collide!

A joint episode called Corriedale which involves characters from Emmerdale and Coronation Street (both soaps which OH and I love)
It will be a very dramatic episode and soap fans can't wait

    Don't watch Gem ,
I haven't for years, MIL loves all the soaps , gets really caught up in them ,
I sometimes have to remind her they aren't real 🤣🤣

I loved them when Corrie had Hilder and Stan in and they were funny
    Same with Emmerdale,
It was better When Annie and Jack were in,

To many murders affairs etc now .
Im not fat just 6ft too small

I love watching the soaps. I record them and watch them on my own.
I've been looking forward to Corridale since they first announced it.
Sometimes I forget to like posts, but that doesn't mean I don't like them.

Gem, my OH records Corrie but says you can't now skip through the ads like you used to! I don't know whether it's our television or what.

He was watching Corriedale tonight and I was reading. After quite a while, I said hadn't anyone thought of calling 999! It seems at that stage they hadn't, but it all looked very dark and hard to see what was actually happening. Or is that just because I don't know the characters?

Gem, perhaps that's the reason my OH can't skip the ads. Many thanks, I'll tell him.

Daisy it was very dark I agree! I rewatched some bits today whilst eating my lunch to make sure I fully knew what was going on

Gem, I told OH about you being able to skip the ads, and he wonders if it is part of your contract with your supplier. I think we could pay so much a month to be able to skip them.

Daisy we are with Sky,we can record, pause, rewind etc .
We record most things, hardly ever watch anything live.

I’m also with Sky and I find it useful to record a programme and then when I get round to watch it I can fast-forward through the ads.cutting the viewing time quite a bit!

Clover, that's what OH used to do when we were with Sky. I'll have to get him to have a look through our contract to see if we've got any options - we're with EE, and since I hardly ever watch tv I have no idea what's available.
