I have binge watched this 2021 series over the past few days. I didn't see it when it came out.

It is the story of Alex, a young mother escaping an abusive relationship to build new life with her small daughter, Maddy.
A partner she still loves but is no good for her, a dysfunctional mother and father, Alex has to go it alone. The title comes from the fact that she joins Value Maids and cleans to earn a meagre living.

I enjoyed it very much and the acting is superb.
The little girl, who turns 3 during the series is an angel. I had to look up to see if she was the real daughter of the actress playing her mum and they were so natural together. She isn't but she obviously loves the actress very much.

There is quite a bit of 'language' in it, so if that is something which would spoil it for you, its not the programme for you.

Well worth a watch otherwise
