    Caught on Dash cam

Does anyone watch this program , we watch it , and watched it last night .
The amount of idiot drivers and pedestrians caught on these cameras,
some should never be behind a wheel , how not more people are killed is a miracle,

Its not only young inexperienced drivers either some are professional drivers, or older drivers who think they know best and are good drivers,
    They are not .
Then you have pedestrians on their phones stepping out in front of traffic unaware of their surroundings.
Causing drivers to slam on the brakes or swerve to avoid hitting them .

Im so glad I gave up driving I would Be nervous wreck now,
When I started driving the roads were quieter and drivers were better mannered.

Oma, I haven't seen the programme, but our recent experience of driving through a large sprawling town every day for the last 6 weeks has been awful. Roundabouts are a free-for-all and several times we had to 'go round' because someone had cut us up by being in the wrong lane. But the worst was a young man on a push bike running a red light. He had a hoodie on and the hood was pulled right down over his face and he shot out in front of us at top speed.

They are a law to themselves at times Daisy ,
They cant possibly see around them hoodies and i bet he had ear buds in or noise cancelling headphones listening to stuff
      So won’t hear either .
Ive always said Hoodies should be banned on bikes and in cars , I’ve seen young men trying to see with one eye around the edge of a hoodie while overtaking .

It is very bad here, especially with those awful "fat bikes"! With roundabouts you need a special training to get round them without hitting a cyclist, it is a law that it is always the drivers fault! In fact I prefer to cycle when I can. I have been to a friends this morning in the car, the roads were not too bad.

Oma, I agree about hoodies, and ear buds! Why do youngsters think it's 'cool' to be so stupid! You wonder how much worse the roads can get , don't you. No wonder so many people have dash cams.

Lizzie, driving there seems even worse than driving here. We're spoilt where we live as all the roads in the Forest have a 40 mph speed limit at least, but even here you get idiots speeding and taking stupid risks to overtake. Like everywhere else, once you get off the unfenced roads it's a free for all on roads that were never built for the volume of traffic they carry.

Teenagers leaving the local secondary school on their bikes are a nightmare near us

Some catch the bus, others, predominantly girls, walk but the cycling boys I dread as a driver!
