    Katherine Jenkins

Katherine Jenkins is performing a Christmas show in The Royal Albert Hall. No audience but it is being streamed to cinemas.
I think it will be a lovely festive thing to see, especially in this year of no live performances.

It was fully booked for all the performances locally but I managed to get booked at one a bit further away. Friends of ours are living there whilst their new house is being done up. I told them and they have booked the same row. 2 empty seats between us which is the rule, but we can chat across the gap before it begins

Classical music superstar Katherine Jenkins OBE presents a magical and unique Christmas musical from the iconic Royal Albert Hall, bringing joy and festive celebrations to audiences around the world this holiday season.
With unprecedented and exclusive access to the historic venue, the Welsh singing sensation performs seasonal favourites and carols with full nostalgic Hollywood musical glamour. Katherine is joined by friends beloved actors Vanessa Redgrave and Bill Nighy, Operatic icon Sir Bryn Terfel, Italian Tenor Alberto Urso, American Broadway star Marisha Wallace, English National Ballet Lead Principal Erina Takahashi, the Royal Air Force Regiment Band and many more to share an unforgettable and enchanting experience this Christmas.
Written and created by Katherine Jenkins herself, Katherine Jenkins: Christmas Spectacular from The Royal Albert Hall was filmed with a world-class creative team behind the camera, whose previous credits include National Theatre Live, The King & I, The Royal Ballet, Bohemian Rhapsody, and more.

Gem - what a wonderful programme she has put together. I'm sure it will be magical.

I wonder if cinemas can open with suitable social distancing and empty seats between groups, why they couldn't have had some people in the audience at the RAH - I'm sure it would add to the atmosphere and be a real treat for those lucky enough to be there in person.
