    All Creatures Great and Small

Is anyone watching the new adaptation on Channel 5?
    It's lovely!
We watch it on Catch Up to avoid all the adverts.

Gem - no, I didn't realise it had started, but I must make sure I see the first episode. I loved the earlier series.

Are there places you recognise in it?

Yes there are Daisy. I have been to the James Herriot museum in Thirsk (Darrowby) several times. This is in the actual house where the vet's surgery was and the family lived. It's lovely. My mum has been a couple of times and loves it as it is all 1940's.

I had no idea this even existed as a museum. My GDs would like it I think, but a bit too far for us for a day out.

We have watched the first episode, recording the following episodes.
Probably watch them all during the winter.
Sometimes I forget to like posts, but that doesn't mean I don't like them.

Oh Plant I hope there are more than 3!!
Daisy, It could be part of a little break in Yorkshire, SO much to see and do here
Oma, I really didn't think it could be as good as the original, but I agree.

Gem, for years we've been saying we should go to Yorkshire for a week and see some of the places we've heard about and see friends of course. So it's on our bucket list for when life returns to something like normal and we can relax and enjoy it.

I love Yorkshire, especially the dales. Many holidays there with the caravan. Didn't have long enough in York when I visited with the National Trust.
