I haven’t seen it either but the Sainsbury’s one is a mystery to me, nothing Christmassy about it at all in my opinion.

Nanto - I enjoyed it. I thought the little girl was perfect in her role.

They were selling the Dragons in Waitrose today, no fire though. Apparently they spent millions on that advert, I wonder what bonus the employees will next year.

I don’t think I’d want to watch it more than a couple of times. It doesn’t say JL or Waitrose to me. Am I missing something.?

It's quite cute. Lovely little girl.
The Sainsbury's one is quite entertaining.

Clover - I don't think you're missing anything, but I think JL try to do a rather oblique message in their Christmas ads. I read a very interesting blog about the current one in relation to children with autism. It made some lovely points about being different, not fitting in, being very good at doing something but doing it inappropriately/ at the wrong time, and how different people contribute to society in different ways. Not exactly a hard sell type of advert, but lovely to watch, beautifully made and with a message if you want to interpret it that way.

Well, Glamm, I think you have a problem on your hands! Could you persuade her to 'need' something easy, like a shelf Elf.
