I loved Morcambe and Wise.
Very talented men, lifelong friends and an innocent humour. Those Morcambe and Wise shows were the highlight of Christmas for many of us, weren't they

My OH knew Eric Morcambe. He once had the rather impossible task to taking him to a formal black tie dinner with lots of boring speeches. Eric kept their whole table amused, just the same in real life as on tv. OH said he'd never had such fun at one of those occasions. He certainly had the gift of laughter.
