TV programmes you watched with your children

This is inspired by Enfy's thread over on the Book section, about our favourite children's books.

This isn't programmes we watched as children, but that we watched with our children.
Which did you enjoy? (Or hate!)

As I had a 10 year gap between children, I was watching different things with DD3 than with her older sisters.

With the older 2 I enjoyed Blue Peter, Grange Hill, The Demon Headmaster (scary!) Box of Delights. The Samiad, The Queens Nose. Probably lots more but those stick in my mind. I watched a lot of Rainbow too when they were little

By the time DD3 was watching, we had other channel choices such as Nickelodeon, so a lot more American programmes were watched!
We still watched Blue Peter, but as she grew older, a lot of American stuff. Goosebumps, Sabrina the Teenage Witch (I liked that) Tia and Tamara, Hey Arnold (DD3 and I still discuss certain episodes of that )
When DD3 was small, I was very irritated by Barney , the purple dinosaur. We both quite liked Rosie and Jim though

Blue Peter, Magpie, Robinson Crusoe amongst many others.

I still love the theme music to Robinson Crusoe.

Enjoy the videos and music you love, upload original content, and share it all with friends, family, and the world on YouTube.
Sometimes I forget to like posts, but that doesn't mean I don't like them.

Blue Peter was a favourite, when they were very young we watched Andy Pandy. Of course the Magic Roundabout, we all watched that together before they went to bed.

An absolute 'must' for us was The Muppets on Sunday evenings. Others included Rainbow, Play School, any film with Lassie in, Magic Roundabout, TisWas (I hated this but watched it to try to discourage the all-too-good imitations of Spit the Dog)

When they were little we also watched Romper Room, which was probably the worst tv programme ever, but in those days there was very little day-time tv for tired children during the 'witching hour' (when they were tired toddlers and you were trying to get a meal ready for them).

Grange Hill was probably the last programme I always watched with them, and it generated some interesting discussions. Hard to believe that was 30 years ago!

We watched some of those + Moomins (like a pink rhino figure? Probably got that totally wrong) and they liked the bloke with the big stuffed green baby duck. Sang 'I wish I could fly, way up to the sky but I can't'. My memory's terrible.
