There's also a new baby in our extended family!
DIL1's brother and sister-in-law had a baby girl about 2 weeks ago. I had a lovely cuddle with her at GS2's birthday on Sunday!!! She weighed in at 9lb 9oz and really is a perfect cutie. GS2 was very confident holding her, while her big sister looked on.

Aww, thank you Gem. She's extra special. Her big sister arrived following IVF treatment and it was thought they'd never be able to have (afford) another baby, but Nature had other ideas, and here she is. Her big sister will be 6 in a couple of weeks.

Qwerty - I really enjoyed my cuddle with her but at the back of my mind was the thought that I can hand her back. I know we hand our GCs back as well, but we have much more responsibility for them. But don't give up hope - you never know!
