    Rang the bell

Today we went to our local Hospital that had looked after Brian for past 4 years and Rang the Bell of Remission πŸ˜€
Every patient that has beat this awful thing gets to ring it in front of all the staff,
Nurses , tea ladies , cleaners, Mcmillan staff, even his Consultant from that hospital came out to cheer him on , about 30 people lined the corridor to watch and clap , lots of laughter and a few Tears , Angels every last one πŸ˜€

A really good way to tell the world he's ok. Must have been a good sound to hear for everyone on the ward. Giving everyone hope.
                  Really, really happy for you.

As it happened GJ there was a lady in our nurses room when we got there that was nearing the end of her treatment ( first one) , she said I hope that's me in a couple of month ,she has the same Cancer as Brian s, so we were saying to her not to give up even if it comes back keep fighting you can get there

Fantastic for B and such a good idea to be able to ring the bell and say I won this battle, like the pic Jean with sign in Righ hand corner that says WAY OUT hope that means going home lol

Oma, so pleased for you and Brian! Have been to hospital with Dave today and the news is......he's in remission too! He will have to keep taking daily medication, but as long as they're keeping it at bay and his blood counts etc are normal ( well as normal as can be !!!) we can carry on as usual. Consultant said we're looking at months and possibly a couple of years before he has any problems. We're planning to go visit son in Slovakia and make along awaited trip North of the Border! Feel utterly elated tonight! Still have to have monthly check-ups though.
Believe you can and you're halfway there.
