Thank you everyone for all your lovely good wishes. She was a 7lb 14oz baby.
Took her brother to see her & he was really curious about her. He still can't speak clearly but calls her baaaaaybeeee. DD' s shattered after a difficult birth but is home now so will be able to get a good night's sleep. She asked if we could have our GS2 for another night ....well I wasn't going to say no😉 He's a peach.
I held my GD in my arms & another love story begins. Nan2 it's quite an old fashioned name. Begins with F. Again thank you all again for your kind words."Good friends help you to find important things when you have lost them....your smile, your hope, and your courage."

Nana - she sounds adorable, and how lovely that her brother is so interested in her. I hope DD does get a decent night's sleep tonight. I think Mother Nature can be quite kind for a few days - baby sleeps a lot and allows Mummy to regain her strength.
I'm sure GS is more than happy to have another sleepover at Nana's.
