    Off To Wedding on Monday

Well how has quickly has the time passed since I first posted about it and why-hey it is on top of us now,we travel out to Las Vegas at 4.30 Monday morning and the wedding is the following Saturday the 4th June everything all done our end except one minor hiccup DDs replacement passport has not arrived as yet and she has to go to Liverpool again to-day to wait for a replacement (things never go smoothly in this household).
Apart from that all my dresses are in order and accessories sorted and wrapped for packing so we are good to go in that respect,we are looking forward to the trip now and future DIL seems to have settled down a wee bit she is still though insta gramming instructions re meet ups for when we are all together which is a bit of a pain but I can live with that I just let DD deal with them from her phone XX

Glamm - how exciting! I'm so pleased and relieved that things have settled down with your future DIL, and I expect the messages are because she's anxious that everything should go to plan. It's surprising how even the calmest bride can get jitters beforehand. I can remember how excited we all were when DS2 and DIL got married in Cuba and a group of 50 of us set off ready to party for 2 weeks.

It's looking pretty warm there at the moment, but you'd be very unlucky if it rained on the Day.

Gosh, Glamma, the time has come already!

I hope all goes really well, you enjoy the holiday and the wedding, and you look lovely in your outfits (as we know you will!)
Last year DD2 had a panic about GDs passport. They realised last minute that her baby passport had expired! Panic ensued, but it arrived in time for their holiday in Greece They do try their best, so I'm sure this one will arrive in time too

Pleased to hear DIL has settled down a bit.Have a lovely time.

Weather will be very warm. We have always gone in October for our anniversary, and it's still very hot then.

Thanks for all the good wishes yes I am now getting excited somewhat I just have the task of fitting all the dresses into said suitcase ?? I decided on the Colbait Blue dress in the end with the petal design on the bodice with black accessories so one choice out of the way.I've just got to decide what to do with this mop of hair I have I think it will be put up in a long ponytail and clipped into a big false plated bun that I have then with the weather being hot at least it won't "fall" and give me a "not to-night Josephine look".

Glam - you've chosen your outfit well - I look forward to seeing photos. I hope you get everything in your case. When DS2 got married abroad I got the job of packing the bride's gown!!! It was hard trying to keep the bodice shape supported, but my other DIL came to the rescue with several packets of GS2's nappies.

You've got beautiful hair and I'm sure it will look fantastic.

Thanks so much for the compliment Daisy with my mop being so long it does tend to drop and go a bit flat if I have it loose hence the decision to use a stand in hair piece it will at least stay in one place for the whole of the day and night.I've just got to remember to unpin it all when going to bed or I will be stabbed to death with hair grips making for a bit of a headache

LOL, Glam - definitely remember to take the hair piece off then - it sounds very painful.

Not long now, hun! Have you packed yet?

Daisy I have only just taken my case out of the loft this morning, but Poppy is going to "The Doggy Nanny" to-day so when I get back from work I shall start to crack on with the task in hand,I need to sort day clothes and evening clothes for 9 days I'm certain to forget something thats the norm with me (dizzy blonde) should have been my second name but all will come out right in the wash I'm sure. Tonight my DS1 and the bride to be are calling in for her to give me the intinary so must remember to keep a smile on my face.Off to work now for last day for a couple of weeks my staff are great so I won't be worrying about them just wondering what changes the Area Manager will be making in my absense
but nothing that I can't change back when I return.

Glamm - I'm excited for you!!! I'm sure Poppy will enjoy her holiday with the Doggy Nanny - she sounds lovely.

At least you can rely on it being hot which makes it easier to decide what to take - and America is the shopping capital of the world, so if you forget anything I'm sure you can get it there. Having said that, I don't remember seeing lots of shops in LV, although there must be some!

Hehehh - let the Area Manager do her worst - you've got the measure of her!!

It sounds as though the bride-to-be is still anxious that everything should go smoothly and she could have just emailed you the itinerary so she must want to see you.
