We have had a lovely day, relaxing and not doing much, apart from going out for lunch. We went to a nice Forest pub in the next village, where they do my favourite sausage and mash. It's not a dish I'd usually choose, but the sausages are from the village butchers and are delicious. OH had his favourite gammon, egg, chips and peas plus a share of my vegetable side dish. We were too full for pudding, so just had a coffee afterwards, and a nice drive back across the Forest. We've had a lazy afternoon, and I cut the lawn while OH made us a sandwich for tea, and had a lazy evening as well.
