    Wedding Day

Wow, what a wedding, it was a wonderful day. The weather was not as forecasted and we were able to sit outside facing a lovely stretch of the River Thames. As the Bride and Groom were already married, the grooms sister performed quite a fun ceremony, we all handled the rings in a muslin bag as they were passed around the guests. Then we all went outside, canapés were served with bubbly whilst they arranged the tables. Once seated at our tables we went up to collect our food which was delicious. Then speeches were made, the best man was hilarious. The DJ arrived and the dancing started, I didn’t realise my GS2 was such a fun dancer. More food arrived in the form of wraps and buns filled with delicious stuff. A few sore heads here today. GD1 and her husband (who stayed in an hotel last night) have just been to collect baby H, she was a star, she sat at the top table between them. They employed a Norland nanny to look after her from 5p.m. and put her to bed at the grooms mothers house and baby-sat until they returned home and my DD collected her today. It was so lovely to see all my family together and enjoying themselves.

Plant, what a wonderful day, filled with love. You are blessed with a lovely family - to say nothing of an amazing dancer.

I'm sure you feel quite tired today, but what wonderful memories you will have. I'm so glad the forecast was wrong. It brightened up here about lunch time, but was still showing showers for you.

I hope we'll be able to see some photos. xx

Glad you had a lovely time Plant. Did you show GS2 a few moves on the dance floor? 💃

Plant - do things feel a bit flat after all the preparations and excitement?

I'm sure she is - she's a very busy lady normally, so the wedding must have kept her extra busy.
