    Any ideas

Wondered if any of you techie ladies can help.

My i-pad is working fine, connected to the internet so Wi fi is fine. However my P,C will not connect. Internet connection just disappeared as I was browsing my usual sites It is a wireless connection so no loose wires etc.
I googled problem on my I-pad but all answers to similar problems are far too complicated and I haven't a clue what they're talking about
I've tried switching it all off and on again but no luck.
    Any ideas anyone?

Has your pc had an update recently, if so it may have turned your wifi settings to 'wired ' . If so you would need to change it back to wireless. You should find this in your settings.
When OH had a pc, it was a Dell one and I know that he could turn his wireless connection on/off with a button that was situated on the top of his keyboard, Do you have anything like that above your keyboard
Have you tried turning your hob/ router off and the back on again
You could turn the router/hub off and your pc, wait a few mins turn the router back on and when that is all up and running turn you pc on.
Bring me sunshine in your smile.

Clover, good suggestions from Mimi. I'd try that first.

If that doesn't work, I'm not sure, either, but you should have a wire connection that came with your router. You probably had to set it up wired and then access wireless. If you've still got that lead try connecting your PC by plugging it directly into the router. You can phone the router manufacturer for instructions if you don't have any, and they should be able to talk you through it. there will be a number on your router (often underneath) which is unique to your router.

Wow ladies,I'm not sure what I did exactly but, touch wood,I seem to be back in business I think it was something to do with what Mimi suggested about a button at the top of the keyboard. It didn't work first time so I went into settings, had a bit of a fiddle ( a very technical term! ) and tried again and "Bingo".
Many ,many thanks Mimi and Daisy.xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
