I have picked up my lap-top and it has been de-bugged and installed with bitdefender anti virus which is supposed to be a top of range one and very effective (fingers crossed says she) I have had to change my email account and address Gems I will send it to you when I have a minute,can anyone explain how I keep my favourite forums on my bookmark screen as everything needs to be re enstalled and I've forgotten how to do it,I am such a numpty at this.

What kind of a computer have you Glam, we have a Toshiba and all my fave sites are on favourites , glad all is well with the computer now was it expensive 😱

Glamm - pleased to hear your lap-top is back and safely protected.

I'm sorry I don't know how to reinstall your bookmarks - I use an Apple Mac and it's different. Have you tried copying and pasting the URLs of your favourites into your bookmark list? That's what I'd try first - but hopefully someone who knows will be along to help.

Thanks for all the help ladies I have decided to leave it to DGS5 to do this afternoon,I am having a belated Birthday Celebration between 2-6pm just close friends family & couple of new neighbours for drinkies & finger food so I will get him to do it for me at least I will know he has done it properly,Qwerty it cost just under £150 but that includes 1yrs anti virus and taking it back to factory settings,there where over 1.000 malware viruses on it and it was so slow in responding to everything its a Samsung and is now 4 yrs old.My other laptop is an Acer and is 9yrs old and when I come back from Majorca in a week or two I am taking that in to be upgraded also.I can't imagine where I got so much
rubbish from as I never open suspect mail.

The trouble is they just get dumped on your computer without you knowing it. I hope GS5 fixed it for you.
