Beware computer scam

Tonight I was on my lap top when a warning came up right across the screen ,it was supposed to be from Norton saying that they had detected a illegal pornographic site and if I didn't phone a American number they gave within 15 minutes so there tech guys could sort it they would disable my computer and report me to the police for using this illegal pornographic site ,
It also said that this virus or illegal site would interfere with my finances my security etc etc ,
I tried everything to get rid of it but it just kept coming on and I couldn't even close the page it was just stuck there with this annoying automated voice repeating this threat over and over ,
At the finish Brian had to take the battery off and shut my lap top down completely before we could get rid of it , somehow it had got past my security so Brian has added extra security and did some other stuff .
so beware ladies obviously another scam getting into peoples computers don't press anything , I almost pressed ok to go to the next page to get rid of it then thought better of it and showed Brian first just as well I didn't lord knows what problem that would have caused .

I had something like that this week and had to pull the plug out to close the laptop , looks like we had a lucky escape !
