My holiday photos suddenly appeared on my lap top! I am guessing this cloud thing took them from my iPad I don't like it when these things happen but have no idea how to stop them! Grrr!

Gem - if the various devices are compatible, eg iPhone, iPad, Mac computer, everything stored in your iCloud account will be accessible on all your Apple devices. Gem - I think there are non-Apple devices that are compatible with each other, so don't be surprised. I'm sure your elderly iPod is safe though.

Shemadee. I have no idea how to stop them, but look on it as something very handy to have, even if it can be a bit annoying. On my pc I have microsoft cloud, bt cloud and ipad cloud (the ipad cloud because I plugged my ipad to my pc to update itunes and the whole lot went mad and stored all items on my pc to the icloud) .
And on my ipad I have icloud and bt cloud.
This proved to be very handy when my ipad was found to unresponsive after an update and I had to take it to the iphone shop to fix it. I would have lost all my data, photos etc, on there if it hadn't been for icloud. Everything was safely backed up, even all my emails and past words !Bring me sunshine in your smile.Comment

Well I'm consistent in my ability to totally ignore anything that comes up on my tablet or lap top about this subject ๐
OH has tried many many times to explain this to me each time all I hear is *&#:^รท$#@;!&*()รk and see his lips moving , it's a totally unique language that I have no wish to learn , the only clouds I want to know about are in the sky where OH said my head is as soon as anything about technology is mentioned ๐Im not fat just 6ft too smallComment

It's a bit like being in an advanced mathematics class when you just want to know how to +- x and divide. I tried the ignore all updates approach but my iPad went completely blank because of this. I would happily pay a monthly fee just so they would leave me and my techno things alone!๐ฅxxComment
