    Do you love your computer?

Whether you use a desktop, laptop or tablet, do you see your device as a friend who puts and keeps you in touch with friends, services, goods, information, entertainment etc, or something you have to do battle with to get it to do what you want? Do you see it as a thing of awe and wonder, or a dastardly bit of kit that tries to trip you up at every opportunity?

What prompted me to ask was I've just got a DVD/CD drive for my computer (it didn't have one built in) and it's sitting here on my desk looking so cool and neat I could kiss it. I can now download all my music on to iTunes and get rid of stacks of CDs which seem to take over the house.

I wouldn't say "love" but can't imagine what I did before we had one.

Yes I absolutely love my computer especially my desktop which is where I can be in peace and quiet to concentrate. It has opened up everything for us both from holidays to keeping in touch with friends to just about everything.

I have always been one for entering competitions, even more so now with the internet.Have had some good/nice prizes over the years.
Met some (virtually) lovely people as well, particularly members here.

Like Qwerty, I have a love/hate relationship with them!
I can't now imagine life without computers and most importantly the internet. It is an important part of my daily life. We have a desktop computer which is old and slow and we rarely use. I have a laptop and a tablet, and both have their strengths and weaknesses.
Fine when things are going well, but I hate it when things go wrong. My tablet seems to have a mind of its own! It opens things I'm sure I didn't click on, or even hover over, and posts at times when I haven't finished! It takes good photos though and it is very quick and easy to put them on FB from there.
I suppose I do love them more than hate them

We both enjoy using t'internet and the computer but quite a few of our friends won't touch them. Don't know if it's an age thing, but two of the husbands in particular just refuse to even try.
