This is a pain in the bum I hate it it insists on changing words I put in for instance bum comes out as bun I just changed it twice then I was replying to a thread and Zizi,s name keeps coming up as zip , I can't count the amount of things I have had to amend once I post and read back . On a morning I always text my sister to say what we doing that day and to tell her I love her just as well we know what we are saying to each other as some of the words don't come anywhere near what we are saying Grrrr now that just changed to green 😈 I give up

you can change type/size of text, but nothing for predictive text, not on mine anyway.Sometimes I forget to like posts, but that doesn't mean I don't like them.

I believe it is what you are writing from, for example a phone or an iPad or variations of such. A desk top doesn't have predictive text (or at least Windows 7 doesn't) and so no problem, but my iPad is switched onto it as I find it useful personally, but I switch my phone off usually on this. Hope this helps.Only those who risk going too far can possibly find out how far one can go. T.S Eliot

I couldn't see anywhere that predictive text could be switched on and off, Oma, so I think Elisi's explanation must be the one.

Oma - do you get predictive tex on say emails or any other forums you use? I don't think there's predictive text on the GRU software. I get it on my iPad and phone, and on the phone I find it quite useful - and often leads to a more interesting message than the one I'd planned!!!
You can use spellcheck on here though - I find that very useful, too."Joy is what happens to us when we allow ourselves to recognise how good things really are. "
