    Blinking Computer

Literally I have a computer that is blinking, I fear its on its way out my cursor is sticking or going where it wants, the colour of the screen is changing from black when first switched on then goes to grey and has an Aura around it too so soz if I am on and off looks like a new one

Is it trying to tell you something Qwerty?

Ha ha I had big problems with my work email this week. All of the emails coming from my company were going into a folder which appeared from nowhere and was entitled "unwanted" - thought maybe my laptop was trying to tell me something! It took two days for our IT department to fix it and then I had to reload company email on my phone which was a right faff.

We had similar problems 2 weeks ago Qwerty.Turned out the computer was fine, it was the monitor that had gone.

Qwerty - it could also be your connection. Switching everything off and starting again is always a good starting point. The next thing is try again tomorrow. I do hope it's ok!

I don't know if I said that part of my birthday present from OH was a new laptop. It has Windows 8 & I'm really struggling with it. So much new stuff to learn. I'm not a fan. Hope you can work something out. My OH's solution to anything electrical that's broken is to hit it. Have you tried that?😱

My laptop plays up periodically Qwerty - juddering , saying it wasn't shut down last time (When it was) and lots other things. Then it has phases of behaving well. Its totally erratic. I never know if I will get on straight away or will need half an hour of constantly restarting it.I have my tablet so I'm OK but can't print or do glitter graphics on there, so I would miss my laptop if I didn't have it.

Mamar* I have been known to give it an extremely sharp tap, which sometimes stops the juddering

You can do glitters on HiPad. You just do not close he application (GRU) down and leave it as a tab and move between the two. I know I don't do glitters that much now but that is because I am lazy, but you can do glitters I promise.

You can print if you buy a specific printer. I got one for £38 Hp Desk Jet, you just need to change whatever you want into Safari then change your wi fi to the printer and it will print with no problem.

We had problems with the desk top this week. It kept on closing down, then being a pain to restart. Our computer chappie came and said it looks like a Windows update has upset the thing. He reset this and that and it seems ok now.

Wow, I'm impressed. You all sound so techie. Does Glitter Graphics cost anything? Are there any other places that do graphics? I'm clueless on these things. 😨
