    Exciting discovery

I'm sure Gem's GS and probably several other dinosaur enthusiasts are really excited by the discovery of what could be a footprint of a Megalosaurus - between 164 and 175 million years old - on a beach right in their home county of Yorkshire.

My OH is particularly interested in archeology and geology etc, and when we go for a walk on the Jurassic coastal beaches we always look for ammonites etc, and even I feel excited on the odd occasion we find one, so I can imagine how amazing it must be to find something like this.

I am constantly on the lookout for fossils. You never know what you will find just walking on the beach or over a ploughed field!

Grauntie - I always think I'm going to find something nice or interesting on a beach, even it it's a pretty shell or unusual stone.
