    Covering the laptop camera

Yesterday I was watching something on TV about how much access others can have to us via our devices, smartphones, Alexas, those devices which you look at your own home from somewhere else on.

The one thing I took from it was to cover the camera on devices such as tablets and laptops, if you are not using them. Just simply cove then he said, it's easy enough to uncover them if you do need it.
Maybe unnecessary , but no harm is doing it I figure.

I immediately got one of GS2's stickers and stuck it over the camera on my laptop

Gem - it's a sensible idea, I'm sure. I don't suppose any of us ever check to see if the little green light is on showing the camera is in operation.

We've got an Alexa and sometimes it springs into life and interrupts, but also it seems to drop its internet connection quite a lot, so when you do try to use it you get the red light and a mild telling off that you should refer to the manual!

I have an Alexa Daisy, no problem with her butting in.
