He is gorgeous, they must all be smitten. Your girls are so sweet, you can see how happy they are 🙂

Large puppy, he is a lovely colour. The girls reaction to him on their laps, one very serious and one giggly. I bet Eva could smell him.

Plant - Eva wouldn't leave me alone on Saturday when we'd been to see him, and she was just the same tonight when I got home.

The vet says it's ok for Cooper to meet Eva in one of our gardens since he's had one lot of injections, and as long as Eva is healthy - which she is.

              Puppy update.

I think it’s safe to say Cooper has enjoyed his first Christmas and New Year. We called round with Eva on Christmas morning. He had got the hang of opening parcels and enjoyed wrapping paper games as well. On Wednesday they came to our house and Cooper loved his first party, including meeting Bailey, DS1’s dog. Lots of people, noise, presents, food everywhere, stairs - Cooper loved it all, and when he was exhausted he found a nice cosy place to snuggle down and recharge his batteries. He’s been back to our house since and is still delighted and delightful.

He now weighs 10kg and is so leggy I find it hard to pick him up now!

He’s starting puppy classes next week which will be interesting. 😀

Three dogs, food and wrapping paper - chaos springs to mind. He sounds delightful and loveing being part of a doggy family.

Here are a couple of pics from the Puppy Monster! He's too heavy for me to pick up now, and is very boisterous. It's a good job he starts classes tomorrow night. When he's sleepy and cuddly he's absolutely gorgeous but he wants his own way and will do whatever he can to get it! I'd forgotten just how exhausting this stage of puppyhood is. but, of course, it won't last and we'll look back on this 'Mad Hatter' phase and laugh!!

Sorry not great photos! He had enormous fun with that beer box. I put several toys in it and some treats and he spent about 2 hours chasing it round the room and trying to get his head into the fairly narrow opening to get things out.

Gem - so far so good. DS2 has already done some basic training at home with him, and so far he's doing fine in class. He's very excited to see all the other dogs but seems to like 'working' - and of course getting yummy rewards.

After shopping, I called into DS2's shop - mainly to see Cooper, of course! He now has the freedom of the whole studio, behind the actual shop, and loves being able to run round a bit. He's brilliant at asking to go out for toileting - he sits very pointedly by the door and looks at you. dS2 and Cooper were very keen to show off his new 'skills'. He will now go on his 'mat' and lie down when asked, and you can ask him to 'stay' while you throw a ball and he will wait until you tell him to fetch it back! DS is prioritising the skills to keep him safe in a busy shop, so he won't run out (he's never take in or out through the front door) and will go to his mat when customers are in.

He's growing like a weed - he must be over 12 kg now - but it's lovely to see how he's responding to the family and learning the things he needs to know. Whether he will 'remember' or not when he hits the 'teenage' stage remains to be seen! LOL
