    He Has Settled In Well

    After he has been kept in for 4 weeks Oliver has now been allowed out in the garden to explore his new surrounds,Poppy settled straight in and she has complete run of the bungalow and garden and has made friends with another cat who visits the garden every day,Ollie goes out of a morning now and spends about 1/2 hour having a good old sniff about then comes back into the lounge to settle on the back of the sofa he is growing at a vast rate and still has 6mths to go he is as big as Poppy is so he is going to be a big cat;

      Oliver is gorgeous isn't he, he certainly looks as if he has settled in really well.
      Our cat was a nightmare, she was so nervous we had to take her to the vets for treatment. She ended up with a nasty gum infection, she was constantly dribbling all over my new carpets. It was well over a month before she would go outside on her own, even now she won't stay out the front unless we are with her and still 4 years on she will not use the cat flap for going outside, we either have to hold the flap open for her or open the back door completely. I understand why the saying goes ...

              The trouble with him is he knows he is a handsome chap I come in from being out somewhere and ask where is mummys baby boy and he runs up to me and insists that he is stroked and cuddled and that you talk to him,do any of you have a cat that talks back ? he does and he's the first cat we have ever had who does this.

                  I'm not a "cat" person but must say he's a handsome fella.

                    One of my cats, Daisy does Glamma. She is 18 and became deaf a couple of years ago. Although she cannot hear us any more she still 'talks'!

                      Yes Glamm, our little female three legged car says hello and insists on a stroke when you let her in.
