    Music for cats!

Has anyone else seen the TV advert for this CD?

What do you think fellow cat owners? How do they know which music cats enjoy?!

I haven't seen the advert, Gem - but I'm sure your cats have!

Oma - it would be claws at dawn!!!

I haven't seen the advert either. As Daisy says, it might be claws at dawn.

When we are socialising stray cats that come into rescue we always play the radio in their cabin. Usually a mixture of light music and talking is good (radio plays etc). The thought is that it makes them feel calmer. Probably cat experts somewhere have discovered this by watching cat body language. Not sure about music preference perhaps Mozart for some and heavy metal for others

Or even Tom Jones 'What's New Pussycat'...so long as it isn't Cat Duet by Rossini.😬🙀

In the long battle for feline affection, cat owners may have some fresh ammunition. David Teie, a soloist with the National Symphony Orchestra, recently teamed up with animal scientists to develop “Music for Cats,” a series of whirring, lilting and at times squeaky musical tracks designed for cats..

I played the sample just now , deaf girl and hearing girl stayed asleep. Boy paused from washing his leg to look around, then carried on washing!
