    Up Date on Oliver !!

Well he has been in residence for 3 weeks now and has certainly taken up pride of place to say the least,we thought Poppy would try and take his food but hey-ho it is the other way around she just sits there and lets him eat her chicken and lets him sleep in her bed she has really taken to him.He has got into some little scrapes quite minor really he was sitting near the TV watching the ball go around during a football match when a voice we have never heard before said "you have no messages in you answer box" to realise he was sitting on the button on the phone which switches on the answer phone it took us a while to think where the voice was coming from,he is sleeping all night with no problems but up with the lark at 5.30 prompt every morning,I am just going to move him from by the oven as he is on chicken watch with Poppy the are watching their next meal cooking away in the oven,

He certainly looks content. So pleased Poppy has taken to him.

Glamma, I cannot tell you what a great desire to cuddle Oliver I have when I look at these photos. Adorable boy

I am glad he has settled in, I can just picture him sitting on the phone!

One of my cats once walked right across my (then new) laptop keyboard and sent it all berserk. Fortunately youngest daughters ex boyfriend who we were still friendly with is a whizz at this stuff and sorted it out!

I'm sure life must be fun with Poppy and Oliver

I confess I'm not a "cat person" particularly but I must say Oliver does look sweet.I do like grey animals! I'm sure he and Poppy will be great friends.

Gorgeous cat. I am a "cat person" and love having cuddles from DD's two ginger boys . When they choose to, of course.

He's a little sweetie - and I'm glad Poppy thinks so as well! They are good company for each other.

Grauntie he is a house cat only and we live in a 1st floor apartment and he needs to be microchipped next week when he goes to the vet for a check up maybe when we move into a bungalow with a secure garden I may let him wander a wee bit but I would be frightened of someone picking him up if he got out anywhere.

Glamm - just wondering how Oliver got on at the vets. I hope he got a clean bill of health. Is he still making himself at home?

His Lordship has now fully recovered from his operation and is back on form he is still growing at an amazing rate and will need a new scratching post thingy as he is slowly slipping off the resting area his rear end will not stay on the sleeping area he is so long I do think Poppy classes him as a small dog now as she chases him about the house, they have become really good friends.
