    New Baby Boy

This morning we are off to North Wales to collect our new member of the family,a British Shorthaired Blue Kitten who will be named Oliver, he is 3 mths old and a big chunky chap I have been waiting for a long time to home
one and the chance came up this week when the person who had reserved him had a change of mind and I was next on the list of interested people,Poppy will be delighted as she loves my son's little kitten and really mothers her to bits and she also plays with my neighbours cat in the rear garden,Oliver though will be an indoor cat as they are such a laid back and lazy breed,so off to Pets at Home to collect some smart bowls and cat type fleeces for our new little man, will post pics asap ladies.I'm so excited.

Glamm - Oliver sounds delightful, and I'm sure Poppy will love having her very own playmate! I'm sure he will get spoiled rotten by the whole family.

Oh Glam they are Beautiful cats you lucky thing , I hope he settles in quickly and takes to Poppy instantly . Our mutt loves cats he licks Tulla till she's soggy , the other cat though beats him up . He cries for my neighbours cats but they house cats and just sit at patio windows teasing him , looking forward to the pics 😊

Definitely need photos Glamma. They are stunning cats. You are right they are laid back and happy to be inside. I fostered one a while ago and she was a very relaxed girl indeed.

Ooh jealous!!! I would love another cat but husband says no especially as once I am working less hours we plan to do a bit more trotting around and, as he says, it will be a worry when we are away.

So right Zizi. Because we are in rented accommodation we can't go away, even overnight. I can't ask anyone to come in to feed her as the house is full of the landlord's stuff and also my cat is 20+ so I would worry about leaving her.
Glam, how exciting. May you have many years of catty love and fun. 😺

My dear old boy was 24 when he died and towards the end I was constantly worrying about what I was coming home to. Used to lodge my credit card with the vet just in case.

Well ladies we are back safe and sound from our trip to Wales I was just a tad worried in case it was a "cat farming" establishment you never can tell from adverts if I had the slightest inkling I would have walked straight away but it was a lovely family home and I met with his mum and saw photo's of his dad who was a bit of a whopper to say the least.Poppy has fussed him so much and even let him sit on her favourite fleece, here are some photo's I can hear the aarrhhh's from here.

Just found him fast asleep next to my spice rack he had climbed up the handles of the units fronts, thinking he is going to be quite an adventourious little man.
