Just had DD on phone, very upset. Seems doggo hasn't been himself over the past few days, so they took him to vet yesterday. Got checked over and given painkillers and told to take him back today which she did. Seems he has a large mass in his body,( not caused by having eating something), so he has to stay in overnight with a drip and he'll be operated on tomorrow. To top it all he's got a heart murmur too! I was getting the blame for him being down because they thought he was just sulking because I'd gone home after a couple of days with them....he does that when he goes back from here too. Hopefully they'll be able to remove whatever it is and he'll be right as rain, but you just don't know do you? Fingers crossed for him please!

WeeGranny - Oh, your poor DD - and doggy, of course. It's so worrying when they are ill and you can't help imagining all sorts of things. Hopefully it will be benign - how old is he? The heart murmur isn't necessarily anything to worry about. My DS's dog has one and it doesn't affect his enthusiasm for life. I'll be keeping everything crossed for your DD's doggy. Big hug. xx"Joy is what happens to us when we allow ourselves to recognise how good things really are. "

Nothing to report yet ladies! Am off there in a couple of hours to help with school runs etc . It'll be strange not having him there to greet me, but hopefully they'll have discovered what is causing the problem and he'll be back to himself soon. DD says thank you for all your kind thoughts!Believe you can and you're halfway there.
