I expect his little tummy has got used to not being fed and it will take a few days for him to get back to normal, bless him. xx

What a lovely lady, Henry obviously went to the right house
What is life if full of care we have no time to stand and stare

Gem - was Henry ok about you going away? I know he knows the lady who's caring for him, but I know Eva gets twitchy as soon as we start packing to go anywhere.

He looked a bit edgy, but he loves his Auntie Wendy who spoils him rotten She has sent me several photos and updates since she got to him early evening yesterday!

In that case, I'm sure he will have a lovely 'holiday', too.

Very reassuring for you that he is in good hands. We need someone to feed our cat early July, would she travel to Bucks?

Sadly not Plant. She's 80 and doesn't drive that far any more!

Henry is happily settled back into his home. Our friend looked after him very well when we were on holiday and sent me photo updates daily
She said she could see him relaxing as the week went on.

He loves her but I think he feels even more relaxed now we are all back in our home where we should be!

Gem - I'm so glad Henry is on the up and up. He must have got lost - he would clearly rather be at home with you than being a 'tough cat' out on the streets, bless him. xx

Here he is in his favourite spot. Warm from the radiator in winter, warm from the sunshine, and the perfect spot for watching the birds and all visitors to the front door!

That looks so snug and comfortable, but, Gem, I'm afraid he doesn't look like an on-the-ball guard dog, bless him. I think the birds and your visitors are quite safe.
