A lady in a street off mine posted on our local FB with a photo of a cat in her garden, and someone else recognised him from my posters and contacted me!
We went round hoping against hope it was him, and it was!!
So happy and relieved!!

Gem - that's fantastic happy news. I'm so glad he's safe and reasonably ok - I'm sure he'll soon put his weight back on, and I bet he's as pleased to be home as you and S are to have him back.

It sounds as though he wasn't far from home, but if he doesn't usually go very far he must have just got lost. Well done to the people who posted his photo and the person who recognised him from your posters.

We rushed off to get him, taking the car as it was quicker than getting the cat basket out, plus we didn't know how easy it would be to get him in if he was traumatized.
Neither of us was wearing a bra! I had taken mine off and OH had just had a shower and not bothered to put one on. My hair was a mess too. We must have looked like the original cat ladies, crying over our cat 😀

Thanks for the lovely card! It made me cry again! It's one of the happiest things I've ever seen, reuniting you all! My cat Hugo, has pointed out this morning that it was he who spotted Henry in the bushes and when he hissed at him, it was actually to let me know Henry was lost! xxx
