The loss of a pet

I must admit that I fretted all the time over George as he got older. The downstairs neighbours loved him and used to feed him. I used to phone the vet and give credit card details in case the vet was needed in the later years. sometimes we don't see them for ages as he works away often and she is away with the scouts and other activities. I used to get very anxious if we hadn't made arrangements a couple of weeks before

I must admit deciding to trot off for a few days is a lot easier now.....

it's a few years since we had to say goodbye to Lucy,our cat.We decided not to have anymore pets after she died.Still miss her though.
