Gem - he's a lovely dog. Not your average, energetic, racing round Border Collie at all. He likes chasing after his ball, but otherwise doesn't play much. We don't know anything about his beginnings, except he came over from Ireland. We wondered if he was a failed sheep dog! He does look extra sad in that photo, but looks much happier now, and his coat is nice and glossy.

WeeGranny - you have to love dogs like Pip, don't you. Cars are difficult, bathroom windows are fine!!

We had a Border Collie, he used to round us up.

Good boy, Plant. That's what he's meant to do. They're very flexible - it doesn't matter whether it's sheep, cattle, horses of humans.

We had a rescue bC before our Yorkies and I had to train him not to round up livestock on the Forest! I spent a long time with him on a short lead, walking very close to as many ponies as I could find. Eventually he learned to ignore them.
