Help! There's a Monster in the Bedroom

We were looking after DS2's dog, Cooper on Monday, as usual. He followed me in to our bedroom and jumped on the bed, as usual. He was going to jump off the other side but recoiled in horror! His face screamed "monster alert, monster alert" I looked to see what had caused such panic. Nothing there - except a new bedside rug.

He half slid off the bed to get a better look/sniff and quickly scrambled back on. Then went and jumped off the other side and carefully walked round to the "monster". He literally peeped round at this awful thing and then carefully reversed away from it!

How can a rug look so scary.

    Awww bless him hahahaha
Well its a known fact that the rug monster will eat your paws if you step on it

One way to keep him off the bed I suppose if you put the rug up there the big softy
Im not fat just 6ft too small

Many years ago one of my cats was very afraid of a pair of new dark blue fluffy slippers! We never knew why, and eventually of course he or she realised they were harmless!

Gem - it would probably have been incredibly dangerous to walk on our monster rug in your monster slippers!

Oma - he's a good example of size having no relationship to bravery - he's such a wuss.

                Thanks, Nanto

Enfys - he is incredibly handsome and very cuddly (if you dont mind being flattened in the process!

Oma - my little Yorkies were about 100% braver than either Eva or Cooper!
