    One out of Eight

As I've mentioned from time to time, with all this wet weather our garden is mostly under water and the rest is very muddy. I've decided it's pointless wiping 8 paws every time Eva and Cooper go out in the garden. They both need to go out any time either of them needs a wee, or a poo, or to sniff the air, or to chase off a pigeon, to just to have a look.

So I put a very large old bath towel down which blots up the worst of the mud, but somehow today just one paw escaped the auto-paw-cleaning technology, and the owner of this paw came through the kitchen, along the hall, quick look in the living room, up stairs and into my study/GC's bedroom, and jumped on the bed to look through the window.

Eva's got big paws, but Cooper's are even bigger, and I suspect it was more Cooper size than Eva size! Hey ho! I'm letting it dry thoroughly then I think it will all sweep or hoover up. I hope.

That's why I don't wash the floor when Storm comes , I don't have mud in the garden but he digs in my plant pots trying to bury his Chicken wings/drum sticks

leaving it to dry is a good idea , even on your bed if it dries you could maybe hoover it off ,
at least you know where he has been
Im not fat just 6ft too small

        Naughty Cooper!

Cats have much smaller paws, but can devastate a clean floor!
We have an old bathmat on top of the kitchen doormat in winter. Through the cat door and unto the mat!

So much for your good idea Daisy. Hope it will brush or vacuum off.

And when I went to bed last night, I found out where else That Paw had been! I'd left our duvet turned back to air the bed, and there they were - big muddy paw prints right across the bottom sheet and the exposed part of the duvet. Arrrgggghhhh!
