Miss Tilly has tablets twice a day, plus metacalm once a day on her food. She has a blocked milk duct or cyst, she drained a little off and it was milk. Meds for a week, then if no improvement back to vet. At least it isn't what I was worried it might be, so worth the £85 she cost is today.

Libra - poor little Tilly! but thank goodness it's nothing more serious.
I though metacam was for arthritis types of inflammation. Are the tablets antibiotics?
Give her a cuddle from me! xx

Good to hear Libra ,
DD took Buzz ( the naughty cat ) to vets yesterday for his check up ,
His heart condition has gone from category 3 last year to category 6 ,
Vet said as it would cause him more stress trying to get meds in him everyday to just let him live the life he has left in peace,
Tablets would not make much difference now , said could live years or months there is no telling .
Our pets are a worry arnt they xxIm not fat just 6ft too small

That must be a relief Libra. Unlikley to be anything sinister in a dog so young, but you never know and we do worry about our pets!
I hope she is feeling much better soon xx

Oma, it's so sad when you know a much-loved furbaby is going downhill, but as long as he's enjoying life you just have to let nature take its course. It would be awful to stress him out with tablets every day.
We were lucky when Clyde developed diabetes, because he was so laid back and never minded his twice-daily injections. If he happened to be asleep he wouldn't even wake up! If he'd found it highly stressful I don't think we could have let him go on like that.

Vet said he could go on for years or just a few month but agreed with DD no point in pinning him down everyday to give him tablets , just let nature take its course .
