Thank you both so much. Yes there was cake! GD1 and her other Gran made it on Friday, and GD1 decorated it this morning. It was really delicious, chocolate, and gluten-free.
She has had a lovely week-end. Yesterday they all went into Southampton, GD has her ears pierced, they then went to a nice Italian restaurant for lunch and then to the cinema to see Despicable Me 4.

15 years ago I became a Grandma!
She remains my only GD and fills my heart with so much joy. As most of you know she has had a very hard time in recent months and years. She is doing well, so onward and upwards to our beautiful girl!
