My auntie, Dad's sister, is 90 today!
I hope she has a lovely day. I will call in to see her and take some flowers. If she is out, and although I would love to see her it would be nice if she went out, there is a porch where I can leave them. (I have a key, but is it weird to go in and leave flowers??!!)
There is a funny story attached to her birthday.
She was the 7th of 8 children. As she was born around Christmas time it seems her father got his dates mixed up and he registered her as being born on December 29th!
Legally she isn't 90 until that date but she has always celebrated her birthday on the actual date she was born, 27th!
