It's my DD1's 40th Birthday today. Memories of a larger bundle of a new baby than I expected... 10lbs 1/2oz bundle to be exact. I thought they'd brought me the wrong baby as she was yellow with jaundice & looked three months old (size wise). Of course I loved her at first sight.

Nana - very happy 40th to your DD. My goodness, I hope you got plenty of rest after delivering her! I thought my DS1 at 8 ½ lbs was big enough, and you're right a ten pounder looks 3 months old. GS1 was a bit over 10 and his Mum left all the new baby and size one baby clothes in NICU - they didn't fit GS!
I hope she's having a lovely celebration.

My lovely Grandaughter is 14 today. A real young lady who I love so much but don't see often enough.
She is having her friends round tonight for pizza and going to Thorpe Park on Saturday. A long way from the Princess and Flower Fairy parties of the years gone by.
