Thank you all for your lovely birthday greetings. I've been well and truly spoiled all day! DS2 and family, including Cooper came over this afternoon. It was a lovely day and we were able to sit outside, with the gentle sound of the fountain in the pond playing in the background. Our next door neighbour dropped in for a while as well. This evening we went round to friends for a drink - and delicious nibbles. It was the first time I've been out for purely social reasons since I started treatment, and it was a lovely evening. We got home about 9 pm and it was still light, so we both took Eva for a walk - again the first time I've been out for a walk. We didn't go far, but I was pleased that even at the end of a busy day I enjoyed the walk.
