Thank you everyone. I’ve had a lovely day with the family. Some wonderful gifts and flowers and chocolate. We all went out for a meal which was delicious, one if the best then back to fuzz and a lovely chocolate cake made by DGS! He’s very good at making birthday cakes so I was thrilled he’d made me one. My favourite, dark,chocolate and cherries. I’m now back at home relaxing with a cup of tea and my feet up.
DD/SIL gave me an Apple Watch and…best ever for me….a night in a hotel in Newbury followed by a day at Highclere Castle! I am a huge Downton Abbey fan so this is a real,great for me. DD is coming too so she will be my chauffeur., DGDs restaurant is in Newbury so we will go,there for lunch too. Enfys, what a great day you had - no more than you deserve though. I'll be interested to know how you get on with your Apple watch. We passed by Newbury and Highclere signs on Tuesday, and we saying it would be a wonderful place to visit.
