Grauntie - we will all celebrate your Mother's Day with you when you have it. xx
I had a nice long chat with DS1 when he phoned this morning. A card and lovely present had arrived from him yesterday so we'd spoken then, so I was quite surprised he rang this morning. It was lovely to have another chat, though, and all being well come the 29th we can actually meet up.
We took Eva to the paddock while the sun was still shining, and spent longer than usual there. We came home and OH started to get more water out of my car while I made lunch. I was half way through when DS2, DIL and GDs arrived. It was so lovely to see them and the girls had made really delicious cookies and brought us some. It was such a surprise to see them. So I've had a brilliant Mother's Day and feel very blessed with my family.

We had a surprise visit from DD and family yesterday afternoon. Home made cake selection and a beautiful bouquet. They'd had an outdoor visit to SiLs' DM who also lives in village. Stayed for a cuppa and catch up before they left. No doggo, he was probably enjoyed the peace and quiet with no one around to disturb his sleep! Certainly cheered me up as I've been feeling down just lately.
Hope GM's investigation has gone smoothly!Believe you can and you're halfway there.

A lot of us have had beautiful surprises for Mother's Day.
WeeGranny - I'm so glad DD and family's surprise visit yesterday cheered you up. You have been having a hard time of it with so much happening. I have been wondering how Grauntie is getting on as well."Joy is what happens to us when we allow ourselves to recognise how good things really are. "
